The long-awaited second full album of this amazing collaboration. TOTO singer Joseph Williams teams up with former CHICAGO singer Bill Champlin and Swedish guitarist and Producer Peter Friestedt, who is again pulling strings here, for a new milestone in the AOR/West Coast genre. Lots of guests like Randy Goodrum (keys, CHICAGO, TOTO), Michael McDonald (v), Robert Säll (g, WORK OF ART) or foremost Lars Säfsund (v, WORK OF ART, LIONVILLE), who adds some additional vocal class on the magical album opener “Runaway Dancer“ – What a chorus! – make this musical trip a very special one. Champlin’s wife Tamara takes over lead vocals on “Price Of Love“ and does a brilliant job, especially when it comes to the powerful parts. A new version of CHICAGO’s hit „Look Away“ completes the picture here. Having in mind that “10 Miles“ and “Amanda’s Disguise“ were published on the EP “10 Miles“ in 2018 already, there are “only“ 7 new tracks, but hey those are tracks of outstanding quality, style-wise, regarding the voices of Champlin and Williams, the guitars of Friestedt and also in terms in production. Everything on “II“ is brought to life by incredibly good musicianship. It’s an album with absolutely no filler. To cut a long story short: THIS is real music. An album like a warm sunshine.
