Just a short one here as this release really not really our favorite kind of genre – ELECTRIC MOB are a post-modern Hard Rock band from Brazil fronted by singer Renan Zonta who participated in “The Voice Of Brazil”. “Discharge” is their debut album which still leaves a lot of space for improvement in the song-writing deptartment but Zonta’s performance is nothing but incredible. His singing and voice both seem to have been influenced a lot by AUDIOSLAVE’s Chris Cornell a lot which also shows you the direction of this record. Mainly only for fans of VELVET REVOLVER, ALICE IN CHAINS or AUDIOSLAVE – but not on the same artistical level yet.
