“Too Mean To Die” is another solid release in German Metal veteran’s ACCEPT’s career. Perfectly produced by Andy Sneap, very well performed – especially the guitars by the dynamic duo Hoffmann/Lulis sound really good – and very well sung by Mark Tornillo. “Solid” also describes the song-writing the best. ACCEPT always have been one of the best bands when it comes to create Metal hymns with sing-a-long-chorusses as they can be heard on “The Undertaker”, “Overnight Sensation” and “Symphony Of Pain” or on the fast paced “Symphony Of Pain”. “The Best Is Yet To Come” is a prototype of a power ballad while “Not My Problem” comes as versatile performed neckbreaker.
After a couple of weaker album efforts, the German masters of Metal finally return with a good release that puts a bigger bigger focus onto the group’s trademarks and offers their fans more of what they’re longing for: good, old-school Heavy Metal with remorable, traditional riffs and catchy melodies.
