Really can‘t believe that this five piece is from Germany. Hailing from Mainz (one of the main cities of the famous German carnival), those guys are no musical greenhorns at all with stage experience of 20+ years for each and everyone. Non nonsense Hard Rock on the twelve cuts here and thankfully no typical German accent in the voice of Thomas Ritter, who at times reminds me on the mighty Udo Dirkschneider. As does the music, especially on the album closing tune “Pradise Lost“. What impresses me most are the NWOBHM influences in tracks like the uptempo „Fear“, “Go To Hell“ and especially at my favorite song “Prisoner“. The ramming “Killing Words“ is another highlight. Like on the 2018 demo, production lied in the reliable hands of Markus Teske, who made himself a name in overseeing discs from U.D.O., SAGA and THE NEW ROSES. That‘s the way teutonic metal should sound. More of this in the future, please!
